Reading Scheme is designed to help children learn to read following a Guided Reading Approach. Seedlings adopts this approach as it helps the children to be engaged in the Individual reading process, learning at their own pace, developing their listening, speaking and observational skills. Nurturing them to have critical thinking and analytical minds. At the same time building children self-esteem and confidence and most of all instills in them the love for books, as reading is the key to a wonderful world of knowledge.

Thematic Approach involves a group of correlated activities that are designed around topics or themes and cross several areas of the curriculum. The activities invite active involvement from children and builds on children's interests and prior knowledge by focusing on topics they are familiar with.
